Apology

This is Sauli Niinistö, the president of Finland.  He once denied being the source of Trump's bullshit advice to prevent forest fires by raking leaves.  As a result, he was forced to sit next to the world's most prominent psychotic while he raved, drooled, insulted members of Congress and denied the crimes for which they are finally investigating him.  What this has to do with US-Finnish relations is anybody's guess.  It really is the luck of the draw.  Next week it could be the prime minister of Spain or the sultan of Brunei.

On behalf of the sixty percent of Americans who are still clinging to sanity, I extend heartfelt apologies to President Niinistö.  Please come back and see us when the emergency is over.
