A Judas goat is a trained goat used in general animal herding. The Judas goat is trained to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination. In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter,^[1] while its own life is spared. Judas goats are also used to lead other animals to specific pens and onto trucks. They have fallen out of use in recent times,^{[citation needed]} but can still be found in various smaller slaughterhouses in some parts of the world, as well as conservation projects.^[2]

"I will be with you," Trump told the mob on Wednesday afternoon as he directed them to the Capitol.  They cheered, although the idea was absurd.  Presidents don't walk around the streets unless they are first cleared with tear gas and Apache helicopters, and then only for a short walk to violate a church.  This one doesn't walk anywhere distant because of his lifts bone spurs.  At the Capitol he would have been confronted by steps or a ramp, and he doesn't handle either one well.  But they cheered, and he slipped into his armor-plated car.

But Junior and Princess and Uncle Rudolph were there, too, praising the "patriots" and calling for "trial by combat."  Did they march to the Capitol?  Well, apparently they had an appointment, perhaps to join Tiffany at Eric's birthday party.   So they also boarded their transportation.

Now that arrests are being made all over the country -- Lectern Man was found in Florida (did he get on a plane with his trophy?), Horned Helmet Guy didn't make it home to Arizona with his spear, Mr. Molotov Cocktails is going to be delayed in returning to Alabama, former state Delegate Derrick Evans was hauled out of his grandmother's house in West Virginia -- all these sheep have a right to wonder what happened to the goat that seemed to be leading them.  Didn't he say he loved them?  Why would he abandon them?  Would they follow him again?
