Reality...what a concept
The doings of the House Overlook Committee grow stranger. Chairman Comer and his Senate enabler Chuck "No Dementia" Grassley have been talking to Christopher Wray about the document which is supposed to be the Holy Grail of Biden criming and the FBI director says they can come by his place and look it over anytime they like. Not good enough, says Comer, it must be placed in his damp hand so he can touch it and hold it up to the light and maybe check for Chinese bamboo fibers. Grassley went one better: "We are not interested in whether the allegations against Vice President Biden are accurate or not," he said on Fox News, possibly unaware that people could hear him. All he wants is to make sure the FBI did its job, whatever that is. Translation: This unsubstantiated rumor is much more valuable to us if it stays unsubstantiated right up to the 2024 election.
The presidential campaign of Robert Kennedy, Jr., is gathering steam. A reporter for the Free Press went to his house for an interview and was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which suggests he may not understand what "interview" means. Eventually he admitted the reporter anyway and told him, among other things, "I do meditations every day...I have a lot of conversations with dead people." He later clarified, "They are one-way prayers for strength and wisdom. I get no strategic advice from the dead." Otherwise people might think the anti-science crusader was a little strange. Kennedy is pretty sure his father and uncle were killed by the CIA, but he didn't hear it from them.
Is it the work of "incompetent hacks" or has Newsmax signed on to deliver Russian propaganda? The network used footage of the apartment building which collapsed in Davenport, Iowa, for a report about a drone strike in Moscow. The drone damage looks like this:
By way of further comparison, here's a Russian missile strike in Kyiv:
